Kelsey Carmela was born in Mindoro, Philippines and was raised in the Northern suburbs of Chicago. She has studied multiple artistic practices including ceramics, painting, and textile work. Kelsey Carmela currently specializes in illustrative blackwork, but also loves Neo-Traditional, ornamental, blackout and anatomical illustrative work.
